Oregon ITS Project Listing – July 2007 Edition Now Available

ITS Oregon member Gail Curtis (Oregon DOT) has begun to build a database of active ITS projects under development around the state. In this inaugural edition, the database includes projects from the Oregon Department of Transportation, TriMet, and the Portland Office of Transportation.

The information contained on each project, while not comprehensive, is intended to give you an overview and contact information, should you be interested in following-up.

We welcome additions, especially from other agencies around the state. We would also welcome feedback on what you think would help make this database interesting and useful to you. Comments can be sent to Gail Curtis.

I only found 3 entries from the month of June that I wanted to share here and they vary widely from one another.

“Monopoly” Continues for Pennsylvania Company, Says Senator Hatch – This issue – how federal money has been made available for certain traveler information projects – is relevant for us here in Oregon. A good read for those of you interested in the politics of transportation funding.
