2007 Proceedings Available. If you haven’t already, logon to http://www.nritsconference.org/Proceedings2007.html and view the presentations from this year’s conference. Presentations are listed according to session (subject matter) to make it easier to find that one presentation you wanted to share with a colleague!
2008 Call for Abstracts Released. The Program Committee of the 2008 National Rural ITS Conference would like to invite you to submit an abstract for presentation at the upcoming conference (September 3-5, 2008, Anchorage, Alaska). All abstracts must be received by Friday, February 1, 2008, and authors should take care to follow the guidelines listed in the Call for Abstracts (http://www.nritsconference.org/downloads/CallforAbstracts.pdf).
Volunteers Sought for 2008 Abstract Review. Are you interested in reviewing abstracts for the 2008 NRITS Conference? If so, please email your name, organization, phone number and area of expertise to info@nritsconference.org. Reviewers will be asked to examine between 2 and 5 abstracts each. Please respond no later than Friday, January 25th.

We are pleased to announce that we will be awarding up to two (2) $500 scholarships in Winter 2008.
The following are the minimum criteria:
a. Open to students pursuing a career in a transportation-related field, such as intelligent transportation systems, transportation engineering or transportation planning.
b. Currently enrolled at least half time in an accredited program at an Oregon College or University.
c. GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The scholarships will be awarded to up to two students based on their specific transportation goals as reflected in their submitted essay, academic record, and transportation-related activities or job skills. Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
The application package consists of four parts: application, work experience, essay, and transcript. Please mail, fax, or email your completed application package to:

Materials must be received or postmarked by December 7, 2007. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. We expect to announce the scholarship awardees by January 15, 2008.
