ITS Oregon

The Intelligent Transportation Society of Oregon (ITS Oregon) is a volunteer organization whose members foster ITS deployment through partnership building, education and outreach.

Partnerships
Whether researching and testing innovative approaches, deploying proven technologies, or evaluating the benefits of technology deployments, partnerships are a necessity. Successful ITS deployments require strong cooperation among federal, state and local agencies, universities and private industry. ITS Oregon builds the relationships that go hand-in-hand with the advancement of ITS technologies.

Information Sharing
ITS Oregon serves as an information clearinghouse, relaying news about the latest ITS advances to its members. Regular meetings, presentations and field events keep members current on statewide ITS activities. ITS Oregon membership provides access to experts in ITS research, deployment, standards and systems operation.

Professional Development
ITS Oregon facilitates training and education in the latest technologies and approaches. By making training and education available to the public and private sector, ITS Oregon is building professional capability within the state–enabling successful application of technology to transportation.
